There sure seems to be enough room for it. An interactive map of Old Villedor, the first part of a fictional city ( The City / Villedor) that is the open world setting of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The size of Dying Light 2's map might be due to Techland's plans to add more story and paid DLC in the future. We dont have a release date at this time other than a vague 2021 window, but it is nice to see Techland coming back to life publicly so that fans can be assuaged of any cancellation concerns. Found in northeastern Old Town in the boot of a yellow van. The map of Dying Light 2 is much more vertical and gives many more exploration opportunities, so the city feels even bigger than it is. Place both stones into the eye-sockets of the skull in the safe-house in northwestern Old Town to reveal the blueprint in your inventory. Dying Light 2's map is genuinely huge, and seems to get bigger every time I run around near the edges of it. You could easily spend 30 odd hours in Dying Light 2's first area and walk away happy without even realising there's another bigger map to. Hidden on the southern shores of Old Town and identified only as ' unknown ' when you hover your mouse over it. And past those borders to the south there's even more to explore. Thats next to the chemical spill in Newfound Lost Lands. As you can tell by the icons scattered around on my map, there are a few areas of the city I still haven't spent all that much time in, a bunch of quests (marked by ! icons) to pick up and unknown locations (with ? icons) to find. For the next rubber duck, youre going to want to head to the south side of the Lower Dam Ayre section of the map. A few missions take you out past the city walls and toxic zones where there are some pretty sizable wilderness areas. The borders you see around the edges of the city districts… well, there's more world beyond those too, surprisingly.
